We are a private school accredited by the Missouri Department of Education. We provide families an alternative to public education and allows traditional students and students with Learning Disabilities, including Autism, to achieve their full capabilities. Recognizing and emphasizing individual differences, our teachers help students learn in an environment which emphasizes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

Rivendale is now an approved provider through the Department of Mental Health for ABA services. This program is ONLY for after school ABA services and will NOT cover the cost of tuition. If interested, give us a call! This is an excellent way to get additional ABA services for your child or begin an ABA program. More information will be posted soon.

WE ARE ADDING ANOTHER BUILDING THIS FALL!!

Rivendale is adding another building to serve more kiddos!!!

Beginning in September, 2009, Rivendale school will be divided into two different buildings directly across the street from one another! We are very excited about this opportunity as we grow, we are able to meet the needs of more families. Our main building will house children with learning differences grades K-12. We will be adding an additional classroom which will emphasize a reading disorder called Dyslexia. We have a teacher who specializes in this disorder with us and offer what is called Alpha-Phonics. We have been using this program for 6 months now and have seen amazing results!!! We will continue to offer the reading program S.P.I.R.E. which is a multi-sensory reading program.

Our new building will house our students with autism ages 3-10 years. We are adding an additional classroom for children with autism and a typical Pre-K class for reverse mainstreaming. We will continue to offer ABA programs with a ratio of 4 students to 3 adults. We have a board certified behavior analyst on staff who will oversee the program and data that we keep on each child.

Moreover, we offer 1:1 ABA therapy after school for kiddos who need an extra push.

We are always looking for sponsors to assist families through scholarships for their son or daughter with a disability. If you would like to sponsor a child, please let us know. There are many ways to do this and IT'S A TAX WRITE OFF! Win-Win for all! You can make a one time donation, or sponsor a child for the same amount every month for one year.
