Kerri Duncan, Ed. S., Director

Kerri Duncan has been in the education field for 23 years as a teacher, special education director and principal.  Her passion for children with educational challenges began early in college through a volunteer opportunity in her home town of St. Louis.  In 2000, Kerri became the director of Rivendale and started the autism program.  Due to the large request and great success of the autism program, Kerri opened another school in the Joplin community in August of 2005.  If you would like to tour Rivendale, please contact Kerri for a visit!

I joined Rivendale in the fall of 2007. I have a degree from California State University, Sacramento in Elementary Education.  I began working with children with Autism in the summer of 2005 and instantly fell in love! My greatest passion and desire in life is to see children grow and succeed in being the best person they can be. If I have impacted the life of a child and his/her family in a positive and encouraging way, I feel I have succeeded in my life long calling!
